The team has had several meetings and are now well on the way to getting the 2022 festival underway. The postcards will be ready for the Kapiti Arts Trail (The Arts Trail 2021 will take place on 6/7 and 13/14 November 2021.) so please do have these on display if you are exhibiting.
Kylie is managing the website and the Festival page has now been updated. Registration of interest to exhibit is now open. Remember as a member you do not need to pay the $25 registration fee. Jenny has engaged our 2022 guest artists. Maria Brockhill, Sue Scobie, and Lee Robertson. The Festival will only proceed under level 1 but we will be monitoring the government guidelines and will review closer to the time.

As from 11.59 on Tuesday 7th September you will be aware we will be moving to Delta level 2.
Delta level 2 means that we can use our facility but you will need to wear your mask at all times while inside the club rooms. Please use the sanitising spray on all equipment that you use - before and after use. Please be especially considerate around others and respect their space observing the 2 metre rule. Classes: We will be running classes from Wednesday 8th September. We are aware that the 2 metre distancing is not possible all the time so please be very mindful of peoples space. Masks are required to be worn in class. Please remember to scan in when you sign in. "Wear a mask. Scan everywhere you go," Ardern says. "Be patient, be kind, and support local, these are tough times." "To keep it really simple, if you're out and about at indoor venues, please wear a mask," Ardern says. Masks are "our new normal" at Level 2, she says. Margaret Hunt and Jos Smith exhibition opening was a lively event and enjoyed by all. When we are open, do have a look through there are some great pieces on show. Paula is looking at the dates for the next exhibition which will be impacted by lockdown -as has the current exhibition. More information on this when we know of the level changes.
